About us
Alex, Benson,and a lot of trees.
ACS Christmas Trees is run by Alex, and has been selling real Christmas trees in Alton and around for over ten years. The trees are locally grown near Winchester. For most of the year Alex runs ACS Services: agricultural, equestrian and groundworks contractors, and hay and haylage for horses and livestock around Hampshire. Come November, the trees arrive.
How we got here
From one pitchto four.
- 2022The town treeWe supplied and put up the Christmas tree in Alton's Market Square for the town council.
- 2023Alton and FarringdonTrees outside the Assembly Rooms and in Farringdon, and our first best-dressed tree giveaway.
- 2024Seven days a weekAlton open every day in the run-up to Christmas, and Farringdon at the Royal Oak.
- 2025Three pitchesThe Old Grain Store in Lower Farringdon, and a new undercover pitch at Street Croft Farm in Herriard.
- 2026Five pitchesTwo new pitches: Brookwood, and Wood Farm in Bramdean near Alresford. And the big tree in Alton town centre for the lights switch-on on Friday 27 November, our opening night.
